DINING

Welcome to The Inn at Cedar Grove, the crown jewel of Vicksburg. Thank you for visiting the Cedar Grove Restaurant created in the 2022-2023 renovation.
The mansion was built in 1840 by John Alexander Klein as a wedding gift for his wife, Elizabeth Bartley Day. John Klein was a prominent jeweler, banker, and entrepreneur owning lumber mills and other businesses in town. Together, they had ten children, and we often meet descendants visiting their ancestral home.
The bar is open daily from 5:00-9:00 pm, where guests and locals like to gather. We often stay open later on the weekends.
Breakfast is prepared and included for our hotel guests, but outside guests may join us for breakfast for a modest fee. Immediately following breakfast, we offer a 30-minute tour of the mansion.
While we are not open for lunch, dinner is available Tuesday - Saturday from 5:30-8:30 pm with a reservation. Please call 601-636-1000 to book a table.
Our New Orleans-trained chef Chris, is a food artisan, and he refreshes the menu seasonally. One of our owners is a Court of master's level 1 Sommelier has she has selected some delicious wines. Our bartenders are some of the best around and are happy to mix you a wonderful cocktail.
